IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL ONLINE AUCTIONS
Items will begin being added the week after the previous auctions on into the Saturday before the next auction, all items listed sell to the highest bidder regardless of price~
INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS – (notification emails may go to Spam/Junk so please check if not seen)
1.) Get registered to bid and make sure you have your user name and password saved, if you lose your user name and/or password click the “forgot password” button on the sign in screen or email info@jjmerchant.com. You can also refer back to your original email stating you were approved to bid, the bottom of the email has your user name and password!
2.) Bidding begins at 10am CST Monday on the scheduled date
3.) Bidding on first lot starts to begin ending at 10am CST Wednesday on the scheduled date
4.) Each item has 60-seconds in between it and the next item, each item also has a 60-second overtime (in the event someone outbids another bidder within the last 60-second then 60-seconds will be added to the closing clock) – total auction should last around 1-2 hours. (This is subject to change)
5.) Max bids can be placed anytime beginning Sunday the day before the auction is scheduled to start.
(Max bids are concealed by the software and you “the bidder” are the only one that can see your max bid, system will only bid using the set bidding increments for you against other bidders/bids, it will not allow you to bid against yourself).
6.) A 10% buyer’s premium is added to all items sold in this auction.
7.) Winning bidders will be sent an invoice immediately after the auction is complete.
(ALL ITEMS WON ARE TO BE PAID IN FULL WITHIN 3 BUSINESS DAYS OF AUCTION ENDING W/ NO EXCEPTIONS!)
7a.) ALL ITEMS MUST BE REMOVED FROM OUR LOCATION WITHIN 14 DAYS FROM END OF CURRENT AUCTION (Failure to remove items within the deadline will result in:
A.) A Certified letter being sent to winning bidder stating when the item will be resold in a future auction due to the item not being removed from our location by the deadline
B.) and/or addtional storage costs
8. Mississippi Sales Tax will apply to all items unless you have a tax exempt number for resell in Mississiippi (Must provide form before auction starts)
Ways to pay – After receiving an email with invoice attached let us know the option you plan to pay by replying, sending an email info@jjmerchant.com or call/text 601.274.3388 with your invoice # and form of payment you plan to use.
a. Online from System – after receiving invoice by email click “my account” at top of auction software while signed in, then click “Secure Payment” 3.5% convenience fee added to total which is nonfundable. (PLEASE ONLY PAY INVOICE ONCE IN SYSTEM, REACH OUT TO US FOR CONFRIMATION THAT PAYMENT WAS PROCESSED)
b. Online or in person with Credit Card – processed by Stripe (3.5% convenience fee added to total which is nonfundable)
c. Bank wire – request bank wiring instructions by emailing us at info@jjmerchant.com
d. Cash in person
e. Cashier Check from Bank- preferred in person or overnighted before the payment deadline (NO PERSONAL CHECKS - BUSINESS CHECK WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED WITH PRIOR APPROVAL)

Transport rates on larger items (not boxed or small items) can be sent to buyer AFTER payment received (done by request only), we do have a forklift and staff on site to assist with loading and pickup.
Bidders are to be held personally liable for any bids made with their Bidding Number. The highest bidder for each Lot shall be the Purchaser, and in the event of any dispute JJ Merchant shall have absolute discretion either to settle such dispute or to re-offer the lot for re-sale. JJ Merchant accepts no liability for loss or damage howsoever arising from any Lots not presented for sale.
JJ Merchant has described the Lot(s) in the catalog to the best of their ability and belief from information furnished by the Seller(s). JJ Merchant undertakes no liability in respect of any faults, deficiencies and errors of any description, oral or printed, nor do they accept responsibility for the authenticity, genuineness, origin, age, condition or quality of any Lot(s) and all statements as to these matters whether contained in the catalog or made orally are statements of opinion only and not to be taken as being or implying a statement or representation of fact.
Each and every Lot is sold "as is, where is". JJ Merchant provides no guarantees or warranties (express or implied) in respect of the item contained in the Lot. All representations made by JJ Merchant, its servants or agents are to be considered lay opinions only and JJ Merchant accepts no liability for any purchase made by a Buyer in reliance upon them.
The Buyer agrees to insure the Item purchased against all losses from the Auction Date until removal of the Item by the Buyer. The Buyer acknowledges he/she has read and agrees to be bound by the additional terms and conditions set forth.
JJ Merchant is not resposible for any item(s) condition (cosmetic or mechanical) left on our lot, before or after the auction.
JJ Merchant is not responsible for the condition (cosmetically or mechanically) of any items/lots that previous winning bidders have chosen to store at our location or request that JJ Merchant resell/rerun in future auctions from when the items/lots were won!
NOTICE: If you are the winning bidder and default by failing to adhere to this sellers’ terms and conditions your account with JJ Merchant WILL BE LOCKED!!
Guaranty Waiver. All property is offered for sale “AS IS, WHERE IS.” (Seller) makes no warranty, guaranty, or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Please note that upon removal of the property, all sales are final.
Description Warranty. Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for misdescription must be made prior to removal of the property and must be done within 3 business days upon completion of the end of the current auction. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of the seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property.
